We collect personal data from you in connection with our recruitment process at The Royal Parks.  If you are successful in your application, we will also collect personal data from you in connection with specific activities related to being an employee of The Royal Parks.  Some personal data that we may collect includes, but is not limited to, personal contact details, date of birth, previous and current employment history, and educational background.

We process your personal data in order to comply with our contractual, statutory and management obligations and responsibilities.  We will only hold your personal data for as long as is necessary: we will not store it indefinitely.  If you are an unsuccessful applicant we will hold your personal data for 12 months before destroying it, unless we ask for and receive your consent to store it for longer.  If you take up a post at The Royal Parks the personal data that you provide in the recruitment process will be held securely in your personnel file in line with our retention schedule.

We recognise the need to ensure that personal data gathered via this website remains secure.  When personal data is stored on The Royal Parks’ systems we take every care to ensure the security of your personal data.
