Our fantastic #TeamArnha in #Ellon are looking for forward thinking, proactive new colleagues who have a good sense of humour to join them on a part-time basis.  For these vacancies we will need you to hold a full driving licence as the people we support love getting out and about in their cars. Current salary is £9.50 per hour with £10.02 pay award pending!

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, fun team that supports three gentlemen to live in their own home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be supporting the  day to day needs of of the people we support which involve personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication.

As a Support Worker, we'll expect you to take interest and participate in their hobbies which include, swimming, going for walks and drives in their cars along with cooking and baking, crafting and watching movies. With your help we will enable the people we support to play an active role within their local communities. 

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving licence
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence in the use of technology
  • The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too!)

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will fall between the hours of 0800-1600, 1530-2100 and 0800-0830 (includes a sleepover) hours and will include weekend and public holiday working on a rotational basis. 

Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £76 for each sleepover shift you work!
