The Role

As the Head of Able to Pay, you will be responsible for developing a scalable, sustainable, and profitable business model for our Solar PV, ASHP, and Insulation services in the domestic market. You will lead the end-to-end strategy, optimise processes, and enhance the customer journey, ensuring that our solutions become the preferred choice for homeowners. This is a senior leadership role with significant commercial impact, reporting directly to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth – Develop and execute a long-term strategy to expand our renewable energy offerings in the domestic market.

  • Commercial Leadership – Drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and ensure profitability through smart pricing strategies and operational efficiencies.

  • Operational Excellence – Oversee the entire customer journey, from first enquiry to aftercare, ensuring seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Market Positioning – Analyse industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to shape and adapt our strategy to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Sales & Business Development – Lead customer acquisition strategies, improve lead conversion rates, and drive increased market penetration.

  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to all industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

  • Leadership & Team Building – Develop high-performing teams, foster a culture of excellence, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Risk & Performance Management – Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, pricing, and profitability management.

  • Expertise in optimising operational processes to deliver high-quality, efficient services to customers.

  • A customer-centric mindset, with a track record of enhancing service quality and driving customer satisfaction.

  • Experience in regulatory compliance and ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety guidelines.

  • A strong leadership background, with the ability to inspire, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
