We currently have a vacancy for an IT Business Administrator working 37.5 hours Monday – Friday, on a permanent basis. This position will primarily be based at our Larbert office, with potential for flexible Home / Office working.
As a Business Administrator within the IT department your primary responsibilities will be to assist in the management and support of fixed and mobile telephony systems on a day-to-day operational basis and produce regular information on telephony and costs for IT as required. You will log and maintain a comprehensive record of progress, new installations, quotes, orders, porting requests, lines and numbers cancelled while supporting site moves, changes and closures and co-ordinate lines cancellations and diverts.
Skills and are experience desired for this role are:
- A good basic technical understanding of computers, networks and communication systems
- PC and network fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of Windows 10
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Superb communication skills
- Good telephone manner
- Patience and understanding when communicating with users
- Time Management skills
In the post of Business Administrator you will use applications and systems such as Citrix, SpliceCom, CODAS and a variation of Microsoft Packages and thus experience with each of these systems is an advantage.
