Are you an experienced Business Development Manager looking for a new challenge?
Our growing Fuel Cards team at Certas Energy are expanding our Business Development team, giving great opportunities for driven sales people to join a fast paced team with great commission and progression prospects.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring new customer growth, existing customer retention and existing customer growth within a predefined geographical area, for our commercial customers using Certas Fuel Cards. Alongside this you will need to increase volume of customer visits and spend at our Certas Energy sites.
Your individual performance should contribute significantly to the department exceeding company targets this year and 3 year plan targets.
You will work in conjunction with colleagues from within the Commercial Regional Sales Team to ensure excellent account management and to maximise opportunities and long term profitability.

We’re looking for:
- Previous sales experience in a business development role
- Previous experience of portfolio management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confidence in own ability
- High degree of self-motivation and time management
- Ability to work with autonomy
- Resilience, persistence and tenacity
- Target driven / results orientated
- 2:1 Undergraduate degree is desirable
