Are you looking for a #GreatJob where you can make a difference every day?

Our amazing #TeamParkholme in Lossiemouth are on the lookout for new part-time colleagues on a permanent (20 hours) basis.   So, if you’re enthusiastic, caring and flexible with a great sense of humour, you could be just who we're looking for!

We have 3 posts available, one of which will involve working predominately waking nights.  We're also looking for relief colleagues too, so if it's flexibility you're after, our relief contracts are right up your street.

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, dedicated, fun team who supports six adults with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home.  The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.

Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication.

You'll also support the individuals with their hobbies and interests too, including music, films, in-house activities and arts & crafts.   As all of the individuals love to get out and be part of their local community, as current restrictions ease you’ll also find yourself getting involved in activities like swimming, ten pin bowling and horse riding.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful.  We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • Great communication and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support.
  • Confidence in the use of technology.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual shift patterns usually fall within the hours of 0730-2200 hours.  Our waking night shift is 2145-0745 hours.

Sound interesting?  What are you waiting for?  Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview by video on Wednesday 21st April 2021.
