Closing date: 14/10/2021

Salary: £19,266 (Part-time pro rata)

Employment type: Part time

Hours per week: Various posts and relief

Town Name: Ellon

It takes a special kind of person to work in the Care Sector.  We think that could be YOU!

Our fantastic #LowerArnha in Ellon are looking for new colleagues to join them on a part-time and relief basis.  For these vacancies we will need you to hold a full driving license.

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, fun team that supports three gentlemen to live in their own home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same. Your main aim will be supporting the gentleman's day to day needs which involve personal care, shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication.

With the gentlemen also enjoying being part of their local community, you'll also be supporting and participating in their hobbies and interests which include, swimming, going for walks and drives in the car, singing, playing musical instruments and attending events.

Routines and activities are different at this present time. Lots of activities are happening within the house and outdoors, therefore a creative and fun approach to bringing in ideas to keep the people we support active and occupied during this time of restrictions would helpful.

About You

At Cornerstone, we don't recruit on experience and qualifications; we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team!  We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to build an amazing career within the Health & Social Care sector.  We'll even fund your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving license
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence in the use of technology

Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of £76 for each sleepover shift you work!
