Are you an experienced Health & Social Care professional looking for an exciting new challenge? We've got a great opportunity for you!
Our teams in #Ardrossan and #Dalry are expanding so we're now on the lookout for 2 new Mentors to join our amazing teams on a full-time (39 hours per week) permanent basis. One of these roles will be permanently in Ardrossan with the second working between our two services.
As a Mentor, you'll work closely with our Project Leader to run and develop our teams, delivering hands on, practical support and line management to ensure that our colleagues are operationally competent. You will be responsible for conducting regular staff support, rota management and providing out of hours support to colleagues where required. Part of this role will also include assisting the Project Lead in all aspects of the delivery and development of the service.
We'll need you to be confident in your knowledge of what it takes to effectively run a service and by using a coaching and mentoring approach pass your expertise on to our teams to ensure that they deliver the highest quality of service to the people we support. We'll also need you to be committed to your own self development and be prepared to learn new skills to allow you to deliver any additional training requirements our teams will need.
The hours of work will usually fall within office hours Monday-Friday, however there may be occasions where we will need you to work evenings and weekends due to the needs of our services. On call duties on will also be a requirement on a rotational basis.
