The Role
We’re recruiting for an Associate Infrastructure Engineer – Video Services here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Video Services team within Technology Services.
This role aligns against Associate Infrastructure Engineer from the Government Digital and Data Framework

Key Responsibilities
Help to build and run user-centric, data driven modern audio video technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) solutions, that enable the Ministry of Justice to deliver services across the UK.
Share knowledge of tools, techniques and collaboration platforms with the wider team and Justice Digital community.
Act as the technical Video Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing advice, knowledge sharing, and technical assistance to other sections of the MOJ's digital estates.
Work with end-users to test, monitor and support MoJ Video endpoints and Meeting Room devices.
Deploy and support Legacy and cloud-based Video infrastructure ensuring reliable integration with MoJ services.
Monitor, maintain and manage robust Video Services with demanding reliability, resilience, and scalability.
Monitor and implement performance tests for potential bottlenecks.
Implement security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
Maintain and develop interoperability with other MoJ key systems and services.
Maintain accurate documentation and service data for Audio Video Systems.
Review and support technical changes, ensuring resilience, usability and security.

Person Specification
Essential
Hands-on experience with modern video collaboration technologies, including deployment and support of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) endpoints and supporting infrastructure.
Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in identifying and resolving complex issues alongside video engineering and support teams.
Good working knowledge of managed video platforms and AV management tools, including technologies from Poly, Logitech, Cisco, and administrative platforms such as Microsoft Teams Admin Centre (TAC) and Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with ITIL-based service management processes, particularly around incident, change, and service continuity management.
Awareness of strategic enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365 (M365), ServiceNow, DIA networks, SD-WAN, along with an understanding of IP networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, and network authentication, and how these elements support and impact video and AV services.
Ability to develop relationships with Business Units, Support Function Teams and Technology Teams.
Experience of identifying, developing and implementing changes to processes, policies and procedures to enhance video and collaboration services in large or complex organisations.
Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for SC clearance

Successful candidates who meet the required standard will then be invited to a 1-hour panel interview held via video conference.
