Life at Justice Digital

The work we do

We are using digital, data and technology to build capability, work smarter and more efficiently. We want to create a digitally enabled end-to-end justice system which can adapt and respond to changing needs. We also make sure all our staff have the tools and technology they need to keep tribunals, courts and prisons operating effectively. Millions of people every year interact with our services, and our work plays a vital role in improving access to justice and making that experience much easier and less distressing for our users.

Led by users, driven by data, flexible in our approach.

Our values are important to making Justice Digital a great place to work and achieving our business goals. Our culture helps us to build capability, work smarter and more efficiently. Everything we do is centred around being led by our users, driven by data and flexible in our approach.

Diversity and Inclusion

Our MoJ Diversity and Inclusion Strategy sets out our overall strategic ambition, focusing on three overarching equality, diversity and inclusion objectives:

  • an inclusive workplace: a workplace that is inclusive and flexible, and where everyone is treated fairly and with respect

  • a diverse workforce: a workforce that is reflective of our diverse society at all grades

  • fair and accessible services: fair treatment, fair outcomes and equal access for all our service users

At Justice Digital we have an active network of D&I champions who focus on making sure we are meeting these strategic objectives.

Our Networks

We have a number of employee networks to allow everyone the chance to be part of a community at Justice Digital and the wider MoJ. Here are some examples of our staff networks:

SPIRIT Network

We aim to provide a safe space for LGBT+ staff and allies to belong and socialise, while raising the visibility of the community through education and advocating for their needs within MoJ and its agencies

SWIM (Supporting the workplace in Menopause)

We’re here to help everyone affected by menopause, in any way, to feel supported at work and to keep them at work for as long as possible by offering advice and support to them and those around them
ABLE Network (disability)

We work to remove the barriers facing people with disabilities or long-term health conditions to drive forward a culture of inclusion, equality of opportunity and a sense of belonging.
