Salary: London: £58,847- £66,670 (which may include an allowance of up to £4,828).
National: £54,358- £61,585 (which may include an allowance of up to £2,517).

The Role
We’re recruiting for a Programme Delivery Manager here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative End User Computing team.
This role aligns against Senior Delivery Manager from the Government Digital and Data Framework.
The End User Computing team sits within the Technology Services team within Digital and Technology, which is responsible for all infrastructure, end user computing, onsite support and delivery of technology projects. It has responsibility for 95,000 devices and infrastructure across 900+ sites.
The Programme Delivery Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the Core Service Programme that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in programme management. The Programme Delivery Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Programme Delivery Manager will be accountable for building, motivating, supporting and facilitating teams as well as removing obstacles and blockers that get in their way.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed programme plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact programme delivery.
- Monitor programme progress and performance, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to programme management methodologies and best practices.
- Manage programme resources, including allocation, performance management, and development.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts within the programme team.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring they are met throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery processes and practices.

Person Specification
Essential
- Agile and Lean practices- You have deep knowledge of, and lead on, a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of the team, represent and be an advocate for these tools and techniques, be innovative and ensure you keep up to date with the latest trends. You have situational awareness of what each in the team and outside is working on and ability to ensure that working practices are iterated to achieve effective delivery.
- Team dynamics and collaboration- You have experience in ensuring the health of the team and can facilitate conflict resolution, accelerating team performance, the team is transparent and that the work is understood externally, create an open and collaborative environment to work in, be flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn, recognise how people best work together, facilitating the best team makeup depending on the situation. You have the ability to help teams maintain a focus on delivery whilst being aware of the importance of professional development.
- Maintaining delivery momentum- You have expertise in solving issues and unblocking problems, drives teams and sets the pace, ensuring teams are working towards delivery commitments. You have a proven track record of managing various dependencies across teams, departments or government as a whole.
- Planning- You can use a continuous approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning and road mapping.
- Communicating between the technical and non-technical- You have the ability to communicate effectively across organisational, technical and political boundaries, understanding the context. You are able to advocate and communicate what a team does to create trust and authenticity. Can successfully react and respond to challenges.
- Financial management- You can report on financial delivery, and can monitor cost and budget.
Willingness to be assessed against the requirements BPSS Clearance.
