Key Responsibilities:


You will be responsible for development activities of bespoke .NET applications used to manage and automate the deployment of applications, configurations profiles, and device management scripts to multiple Microsoft Intune environments. 

  • Design, build and maintain application code using C# and .NET to ensure high availability and scalability to serve Government needs. 
  • Managing the application infrastructure through code. 
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to optimise performance, reliability, and security. 
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Architects to set product direction.
  • Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team and community, both developers and non-developers, and maintaining DevOps culture. 


The role will work collaboratively with:

  • Lead Engineers
  • Technical Architecture and Service Operations teams
  • 3rd party Service Managers, Project and Technical leads
  • Senior Operations Managers within the EUC team
  • Key MOJ stakeholders

Person Specification


Essential


  • Experience writing scalable code using C# and .NET.
  • Proven experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with Azure cloud-based development.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint management via Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience of modern development and deployment techniques.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell. 
  • Experience of working with version control technologies (ideally with Git).
  • Experience working in a mixed skillset team.
  • Have a systematic and proven approach to problem solving. 


Desirable


  • Used to working in a fast-paced and Agile working environment. 
  • Experience of managing infrastructure as code using tools such as YAML and Terraform.
  • Exposure to REST API development and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Willingness to work in agile team.
  • Experience of design patterns and SOLID principles.
