Job Description
Story time voices, messy play masterpieces and those unforgettable “I did it!” moments... if this is what you love, you’ll fit right in.
At Pump House Nursery, we believe childhood should be full of wonder, curiosity and joyful moments that really matter. Every day, we create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to explore the world around them.
We’re looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner who brings energy, care and creativity to their day. You’ll be right at the heart of it all – supporting little learners as they grow in confidence, develop new skills and discover the world in their own unique way. From muddy adventures to cosy story time, every moment counts.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), and as an all year-round setting, you’ll be part of a consistent, supportive environment for both children and team members.
Why Join Us?
We know that happy, supported teams create the best environments for children, so we make sure you feel valued, appreciated and looked after too.
Our benefits include:
• Access to MO, our internal platform for capturing and sharing MOments of achievement, learning, and joy across the company
• At least 60% childcare discount for team members
• 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas closure
• An extra day off for your birthday (because cake is important!) plus a wellbeing day to recharge
• Flexible working patterns – choose from a 4-day week with longer shifts or a 5-day week with shorter hours
• Paid maternity leave after two years’ service – enhanced to support you at a vital time
• INSET days dedicated to team training and coming together as a whole company
• Sovereign Healthcare Programme (after 3 months’ employment) and Employee Assistance Programme
• Exclusive access to high street discounts
