Our Services

We have two locations offering services to children with disabilities -

The Mallard, our residential short breaks service, enables children & young people to enjoy time away from home, taking part in a range of activities, making friends and developing their independence. Through a popcorn & movie night with a familiar film, playing a favourite game in the garden, or by providing the right sensory environment, our team works in partnership with families to create a home away from home experience based on the needs of the young person.

GO2, our bespoke day opportunities service, works in partnership with young people and their families to achieve outcomes which promote ordinary lives, building on their interests, skills and ambitions. On a one-to-one basis, we support young people to gain independent living skills and social skills, utilising our hub and surrounding community, as well as the young person’s local community and wider world, however they may define it. Encouraging creative solutions, this will range from opportunities to build friendships with other young people, develop a familiarity with their own community by accessing community groups, use public transport, or plan and go on holiday.

We are now looking for great people to join our team to develop and grow our services and to help us make a change to the lives of those we support.

Our Opportunities

We have a number of different opportunities working across a variety of shift and working patterns.

All our staff work alongside parents and guardians, you provide the very best experience for those in our care. You will need strong communication skills as well as an understanding of some of the issues they may be facing. Ideally you have experience of working with children, particularly those with a learning disability, however, what is important is who you are and the creativity, innovation and enthusiasm that you can bring to this really important role.

Depending upon the role, you may need to hold a qualification such as HNC level with SVQ3 (or willing to work towards these qualifications).
